• CAUTION: Canadian Passport Photographs do not have the same head size requirements as Canadian Visa, Immigration, Permanent Residence or Citizenship photos and should be photographed by a professional portrait studio specializing in Canadian ID photos.
• Avoid white clothing because the portrait background for Canadian Passport Photographs is white.
• It is best to remove your glasses to eliminate any chances of rejection because of reflections.
• Your expression must be neutral with no frowning or smiling.

Feldman's Photography will create two identical Canadian Passport pictures that will be exactly 50mm x 70mm (2 x 2 3/4 inches). There will be no hard shadows with a solid white background.

The name and address of Feldman's Photography and the date the photo was taken will be printed directly on the back of one of the two photos. Please note that according to a consular officer of Canadian Consulate General of New York, "The stamp should be on the back of one photograph. The photos might be rejected if there is a stamp on both."

Space will be left on the back for the name name of the Canadian applicant and the guarantor's signature and declaration. Our portrait studio has a dye cutter specifically manufactured for Canadian Passport Photographs. The entire process should take less than five minutes.

Note: Guarantor policy for Canadian passport photos was revised on October 1, 2007. Under the new policy, an eligible guarantor must:

• Be a Canadian citizen 18 years of age or older
• Hold a five-year Canadian passport that is valid or has been expired for no more than one year.
• Have been 16 years of age or older when they applied for their own passport.
• Have known the applicant personally for at least two years.
• Under this new policy, any family member as well as any individual residing at the applicant's address may act as guarantor, provided he or she meets the requirements noted above.
