• CAUTION: Canadian Visa Photographs do not have the same head size requirements as Canadian Immigration, Passport, Permanent Residence or Citizenship photos and should be photographed by a professional portrait studio specializing in Canadian ID photos.
• Avoid white clothing because the portrait background for Canadian Visa Photographs is white.
• It is best to remove your glasses to eliminate any chances of rejection because of reflections.
• Your expression must be neutral with no frowning or smiling.
• The photographs must be identical and taken within the last six months. They may be either black & white or color.
• The photographs must be clear, well defined and taken against a plain white or light-coloured background.
• If the photographs are digital, they must not be altered in any way.
• Your face must be square to the camera with a neutral expression, neither frowning nor smiling, and with your mouth closed.
• You may wear non-tinted prescription glasses as long as your eyes are clearly visible. Make sure that the frame does not cover any part of your eyes. Sunglasses are not acceptable.
• A hairpiece or other cosmetic accessory is acceptable if it does not disguise your normal appearance.
• If you must wear a head covering for religious reasons, make sure your full facial features are not obscured.
• Canada's Passport and Visa photo sizes and quantities of photos required change frequently. Please verify the photo specs with your embassy prior to visiting our studio.

Our studio will create two identical Canadian Visa Pictures that will be exactly 35mm x 45mm finished size with a head size of 31mm to 36mm from chin to the crown of the head (top of skull and not top of hair). Canadian Visa photos will be have a gloss finish with no hard shadows and will be photographed in front of a solid white background.

The entire process should take less than five minutes.
